Agitation or Mechanical Action is very important in carpet cleaning because it helps to suspend the soil in the carpet.This can be accomplished by using a cylindrical shampoo machine or a rotary shampoo machine.
An Oscillating Pad Machine such as the Hruby Orbot could also be used to agitate the preconditioner into the carpet.
